7-Azido-4-Methyl Coumarin
Highlights
- Fluorogenic probe for H2S detection
- Forms fluorescent AMC upon azide reduction
- Ex/Em: 326 / 440 nm
Product Details
This azidocoumarin derivative becomes fluorescent upon reaction with hydrogen sulfide (H2S), producing AMC. It is selective and sensitive for H2S detection in vitro and in cells, and is also used for monitoring PLP-dependent enzyme activity and in photoaffinity labeling studies. It is soluble in DMF, DMSO, MeCN, MeOH (solutions in DMSO and DMF are not suitable for long-term storage)
